The Chicago Bears Network will not be including Cedric Benson in its fall lineup, the The USA Today reports.

Instead, the struggling franchise will be prepared to give a new show, Forte, a 16-episode run.

Benson was expected to be a hard-hitting drama with more consistency than the fellow Mack Brown production, Ricky. But Benson got off to a slow start, and it has been recently been plagued by off-the-set shenanigans that have caused its abrupt cancellation.
